This year has flown by!  We hope you'll have some relaxing crafty time amid the hustle and bustle of the holidays to play along for the last Cards in Envy Challenge for 2015, "Let it Snow."  We'd love for you to share your snowflakes with us on an A2 sized card that will fit in an envy for mailing!  It can be any theme:  Birthday, Hello, Thank You, Encouragement, Happy New Year, etc.

Thank you to all the Cards in Envy fans that shared their wonderful creations with us this past year.  May your holidays be warm and cozy and we are looking forward to seeing the snowstorm of cards to finish up the year!  Please stop by the other CIE designers' blogs to check out their beautiful inspiration and we will all be back in 2016 for more Cards in Envy fun!

Cheers!

Cards in Envy: Very Vintage Christmas

It's time for another fun Cards in Envy Challenge and this time we're looking for A2 size Christmas cards with a vintage vibe that are flat enough to fit in an envy.

I had this paper pad from Graphic 45 that had a lot of fun vintage-type images that stirred up fond memories.  I remember the cards that my folks used to receive that always had chubby little faces and lots of glitter, not to mention color combos you just don't see too much of today.

My first card is using chubby little snow people that I really glittered up and layered on top of a snow stamped background:

There was also a great vintage Santa image in the stack so, of course, I had to make another one!  Again I used lots of glitter and dyed a piece of seam binding red that I crinkled all up and let dry.

We hope you'll join in the Very Vintage Christmas Challenge and maybe you too will have some fond memories of cards received in the past.  Thanks for stopping by!!

W2SB #24: Twas the Night Before Christmas

Happy Holidays W2SB friends!  We know it's a very busy time of year for everyone but we're hoping you'll take some time to relax, revisit the beloved Clement Clarke Moore poem, A Visit from St. Nicholas, and create a project using ANY line(s) from this holiday classic.

Here's my I-Team card for a little inspiration:

In addition to checking another Christmas card off your list, you have a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to My Favorite Things (woo hoo), a Guest I-Teamer invitation and our W2SB Winner's Badge.  Pretty nice Christmas present, huh?

We look forward to seeing what lines you use for inspiration!  Thanks so much for visiting!
