Two cards in one day...woo-hoo! The second card I made today is to play along with the latest challenge over at
Shopping Our Stash. The theme, "Chip off the old Block," asks that we use chipboard on our card.
I started digging because I knew I had some. I just wasn't sure where it was! The little box I found was full of chipboard frames with pop-out centers and I can't even begin to tell you how old it is. I'm almost embarrassed to say I had to cut the tape on the box because I had never even opened it!
I used two different frames - the outer frame of one for the sentiment, and the pop-out piece of the second frame for the gold foiled butterfly. I added some die cut foil leaves and a few gold sequins to finish the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Here's the stuff I used:
Cardstock: Classic Crest Sand, Hero Arts Black, Recollections Gold Foil
Dies: My Favorite Things (leaves & sentiment), The Stamps of Life (Stitched Rectangle)
Chipboard: DCWV Mariposa
