Seize the Birthday #176: For Kids
Hi Friends! I'm still enjoying my time as a Surprise Party Guest over at Seize The Birthday! This time around (as usual) you can create a birthday card with any theme or, for extra fun, you can add a topping!
The Topping for our current challenge is "For Kids" so I thought I would play with some super cute super heroes!
These cuties are from Sunny Studio's 'Super Duper' Stamps & Dies that I simply colored with Copics. I don't have a large selection of Copic markers so I try to supplement with my Prismacolor pencils for shading, etc. I used MFT's 'Radiating Rays' stencil and Mustard Seed Distress ink for the background. I die cut a Quickutz Starburst for the heat embossed sentiment and then popped up the little heroes. A sparkly Jelly Roll pen, Glossy Accents, and a little rhinestone for the wand finished up this card and they are ready to save the day!

ReplyDeleteYou are killing it as a guest over at Seize the Birthday! I too find when I use Copics I have to come back with some Prismas for detail and shading. Love your super heroes!

ReplyDeleteKids cards are rare for me, so this was really a challenge. I have older grand kids and I am always stumped at what they would like. Now I am making them for my nephews three young girls and these are a great inspiration for me. Thanks
