Those Were The Days

Hi All!  My card today was put together with two things in mind.  First, the latest CASology Challenge:

Secondly, it was for my dear friend of over 35 years (eek).  We had a conversation the other day as she was going through some major challenges with her business.  We reminisced a bit about our "youth" and happy hours and road trips and...in other words, those were the days!

So, I used one of my favorite stamps from Impression Obsession called "Fun Friends," stamped over stenciled sun rays (Tim Holtz) in Catherine Pooler's new Midnight ink (A truly fab black).  The sentiment was computer generated based on the 1968 classic by Mary Hopkin.  Easy peasy one layer!

Thanks so much for stopping by ~ I hope you're having a great week!
