| Week #209 |
The card started with a Mermaid stamp from the clearance bin...I guess summer IS almost over!
I stamped her onto some Strathmore watercolor paper that I had used to make the card base using Distress Inks (Mermaid Lagoon (of course) and Twisted Citron). Using an aqua brush, I watercolored her hair, the teeny seahorse, and her 'tail.' I added Perfect Pearls to the ink for lots of shimmer but the pic just doesn't show that :(. There should be a shimmer button on cameras, I think. The sentiment is from Catherine Pooler's Stamp of Approval Lovely Notes Collection, stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black. I did add a few aqua sequins for "bubbles." Thanks so much for stopping by ~ I hope you're having a great week!

What a beautiful mermaid. Lovely colors you used. Bet the shimmer from the Perfect Pearls looks awesome in real life. Thanks for joining us at CASology this week!

ReplyDeleteITA with your suggestion of a shimmer button on cameras. That would be sooooo useful! Your card, even without the shimmer showing, is delightful! Thanks so much for sharing it at OLS!
